Lufthansa has decided to suspend its flight operations from Kuala Lumpur International Airport after thorough consideration and analysis. Flights from Kuala Lumpur will be suspended effective 01 MAR 2016.
Lufthansa will offer alternatives to service the traffic to/from Malaysia. In cooperation with several airline partners, Lufthansa passengers from Malaysia can connect via Lufthansa Group’s Asian gateways such as Singapore and Bangkok, to Europe and beyond.
Lufthansa started flying to Kuala Lumpur since 2004. All existing bookings from 1st Mar will be re-protected and therefore will be rebooked as quickly as possible and as close to their respective original itinerary. Lufthansa will exercise maximum flexibility for possible cancellations/refunds to any tickets issued should the newly protected bookings be not acceptable by customers.
